Trunk
A trunk is the main stem of a tree from which branches arise. The trunk represent the main way core beliefs are acted out by society to directly support the society. It represents the main support system of a society. You may have at some point in your life seen a tree stump with dozens of new branches growing out. If a tree/society is cut at the trunk, a large part of the tree will die but with the roots intact, it's possible for it to survive and grow again.
